Mason County Fair

The Varmints have been playing music together since the summer of 2005. Our music came together at "Paul's Jam Session" night at the Robin Hood in Union. The lead singer/rhythm guitar player Travis Baze invited his friends Dave McCray, Thomas Roberts, Shay Masteller, and his brother Justin to share the stage. After a few months of playing together we met Jerry Petersen and invited him to be our harmonica player. After a year and a half of playing local bars, festivals, and parties we welcomed our newest member, Jesse Ashby, our keyboard player. We play mostly classic rock cover songs and enjoy watching our crowds dance. With the help of Jesse Dexter, our sound technician, we call ourselves The Varmints.
