History
of the Rodeo
Rodeo, as we know it today, evolved from community celebrations
and weekend "jackpots" where ranch hands competed
with each other for fun and entertainment as they demonstrated
the individual roping and riding skills they used in everyday
ranch work.
These competitions date back to the early 1800's. Rodeo has
since become one of the third fastest growing sport in the
nation. The sport is truly a unique American original.
