101 Years of Fair on Highway 101!

The Mason County Fair & NPRA Rodeo -- July 24-26, 2009 -- is celebrating 101 years with FREE gate admission!

Yes, once again, FREE, gate admission for 2009 - it was such a success in our 100 year celebration that we are continuing in 2009!

Don't spill your popcorn!

We are excited to announce the return of a full scale carnival at the Mason County Fair. Carnival rides will be available throughout the weekend courtesy of Davis Shows NW of Oregon.

Kids Activities
With the tremendous success of the Kids Zone in 2007-2008 we are planning on bring all that and more back for 2009!

Look for arts and crafts, hand's on activities in all departments... and great contests before the fair!

Enter the Fair in '09

Each summer, thousands of local residents exhibit their talents in the Mason County Fair. The traditional prizes – blue ribbons, cash awards and neighborhood bragging rights have changed little since the fair opened in 1908.

Take a look at just a few of the ways you and your family can show off your talents.

  • Painting, drawing... artwork of all kinds...
  • Crafts... needlework, ceramics
  • Your rooster... the cat...the pet rabbit...
  • The giant pumpkin you are so proud of?
  • How about that amazing chocolate cake? Or your preserves?

What shall you enter?
The possibilities are limitless!
